We will train you and then match you with families in your community.

OUR TRAINING INCLUDES:

• Understanding exactly how doulas help families once home with their baby (or babies!),
• Learning about mothers and newborns from birth through the first 2 months of life,
• Finding out how newborns think, feel, grow and develop using Montessori and other child development experts' findings,
• Training in newborn care such as bathing, baby massage, diapering, wearing baby,
• Hands-on training with breastfeeding, pumping and bottle-feeding
• Understanding a mother’s physical and emotional needs after delivery,
• Exploring what postpartum depression and anxiety is,
• Up to date local resource information for parents and newborns
